💡 THE SPARK THAT STARTED IT ALL
It all started with a random thought — "What if chai… was ice cream?" At first, the idea seemed a little crazy. Chai is meant to be hot, cozy, and comforting—the idea of turning it into a frozen dessert felt almost wrong. But the thought stuck with us, and we couldn’t shake it. What if we could capture the bold spices and warmth of chai and turn it into something you could enjoy on a hot summer day?
Driven by curiosity (and maybe a touch of stubbornness), we decided to experiment. We gathered all the ingredients, played around with different methods, and finally crafted our very first batch of homemade chai ice cream. Nervous but excited, we took a small batch to our friends for a taste test, and their response was overwhelming: “You should start an ice cream business!”
It was one of those moments where everything just clicked. That moment became the spark that ignited Spice Cream—a place where authentic, rich flavours and creamy indulgence come together in ways you’ve never experienced before. We’re a small, family-run business on the Sunshine Coast with a big soft spot for bold flavours and creamy indulgence. Our process is deeply personal and intuitive. We don’t follow strict trends—we create recipes that feel right, drawing inspiration from childhood memories, spontaneous ideas, or just flavours we’re craving in the moment. If it excites us, it’s worth a try.
